Modern Shoes vs. Outdated Shoes

In our culture it may seem that men are not passionate about shoes as much as women are, however there are plenty of men out there who have extensive number of shoes in their wardrobes and can match any woman pair for pair. Shoe obsession aside, having the right kind of shoes in your wardrobe and knowing how to match each properly with the outfit you are wearing is a practical necessity in today’s world, Because choosing the right pair of men’s shoes can turn an average outfit into an outstanding outfit.

Proper outfit creates a visual streamline from your neck down to your feet. Wearing outdated, worn out or improper shoes distorts the smooth visual streamline we are trying to create turning a fashion opportunity into a fashion liability.

Men often chose shoes that are out of date or out of style. That being square toed, chunky, wide shoes with huge rubber soles. Those type of out of style shoes don’t do anything to make you look slimmer and sleeker. If anything, they make you appear heavier and shorter than you actually are and nobody needs that.

Modern stylish shoes have become much less chunky and wide, they are sleek and streamlined, have a very simple sole and an elongated toe-box. A great example of stylish modern shoes are Boss Black by Hugo Boss Men’s Remy Lace Ups. They feature a streamlined, sleek and sexy design. You can dress these shoes up or you can dress them down. You can wear them with jeans and a sport coat or even with a pair slacks.
Men may not define themselves by the shoes they wear, but their shoes still tell us something about them. So make sure the shoes you wear are sleek, stylish and sexy.
