A fashion staple for the anti-establishment since the mid-1900s, Doc Martens have become legendary shoes - with good reason. Dr. Martens shoes and boots are incredibly comfortable and unbearably hip, and these men's casual shoes are no exception.
Whether you're a guy who needs a durable and robust shoe, or guy who just loves to make a subcultural fashion statement, you'll definitely find a pair of shoes or boots you love among these top picks in Dr. Martens shoes and boots for men.

1. Dr. Martens '1460' Boots - Classic Doc Martes
These are the Doc Martens boots that started it all, and if you want to know when it all started, you only have to look as far as these boots' name. According to the official U.S. Dr. Martens online store "1460" tells us that April 1, 1960 (European date format of 1-4-60) was the original production date of these iconic Dr. Martens boots -- the production nickname caught on, and obviously so did the style. I've shown them here in their gorgeous cherry red shade, but these boots are available in a wide variety of colors, finishes, and sizes.
2. 'Oscar' Lace-Ups - Suede Dr. Martens Shoes for Men
3. 'Chris' - Dr. Martens Boots for Men
These stylish Doc Martens boots are a bit more streamlined than most of their styles, but they still offer plenty of rugged masculinity. Versatile and contemporary, these boots will work with jeans or other casual pants, and they are available in black, brown and milkshake (tan). The brown and black leather both look great, but my hands-down favorite of the three is the milkshake suede version shown here.
4. "8B797X" -- Elastic Gusset Slip-On Doc Martens Shoes
These Dr. Martens men's shoes are perfect for the guy who loves the convenience of a slip on, but still wants a rugged style. These loafers feature chunky outsoles and are available in peanut, bark, or black grizzly.
